The Hunger Games is both a like and different from all reality TV today

The Hunger Games have begun. In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV. Katniss Everdeen regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the Games.

Survivor is a reality television game show produced throughout the world. In the show, contestants are isolated in the wilderness and compete for cash and other prizes. The show uses a system of elimination, allowing the contestants to vote off other tribe members until only one final contestant remains and wins the title of "Sole Survivor".

Jersey Shore is an American reality television series that premiered on MTV on December 3, 2009 in the United States. The series follows the lives of eight housemates spending their summer at the Jersey Shore in the New Jersey, Miami Beach, Italy, and Seaside Heights. The show debuted amid large amounts of controversy regarding the use of the words "Guido/Guidette," portrayals of ItalianAmerican stereotypes.

The Real World is a reality television program on MTV originally produced by Mary-Ellis Bunim and Jonathan Murray. First broadcast in 1992, the show, which was inspired by the 1973 PBS documentary series An American Family, is the longest-running program in MTV history and one of the longest-running reality series in history, credited with launching the modern reality TV genre.

The Voice is an American reality talent show on the NBC television network. Based on the reality singing competition The Voice of Holland, the series was created by Dutch television producer John de Mol and is Executive Produced by Mark Burnett. It is part of an international series. The Voice immediately proved to be a hit for NBC and in May 2011.

Winning means fame and fortune. Losing means certain death. There are the careers (the pros) and the amateurs. Anyone 12 to 18 can be chosen. Also you could volunteer. Life or death situation. Little or nothing is censored. Possible allies to kill the weak ones

Party all time Drama between couples. Work and complain at a t-shirt store. Make millions acting like idiots. Get drunk almost every night, bring a grenade whistle with them. GTL Social disruption.

Each season consists of seven to eight people, aged 1825. Usually selected from thousands of applicants from across the country They try to live in a house together, while participating in activities planned by the show, for as long as possible, until wanting to move out, or being asked by others to move out. Serious relationships usually happen.

The best singer wins it all A professional coach that is a very successful singer, coaches them all the way to the finals. There are 4 groups that are spread within age. Votes by the public determine who wins it all.

They both have allies and betrayals. Both involve eliminating with contestants. Daily challenges happen to them for food and supplies. Usually 1 winner Big prize at the end. Both are in the wilderness

Both have same ratio of females and males. Drama between all the people. The ones who back off and the ones who are aggressive are in both shows. Have a high fan base.

Love relationships happen. Both have the strong willed people, but the ones who live in fear. They have certain age base for both of them. Same male to female ratio.

The people are helped by their coach. Certain age group. You can Volunteer for both of them. Usually 1 winner. Big prize at end

Death in the Hunger Games. Age difference. (Teens : adult) Giant arena that has fake flora vs. real wilderness.

Death. Hunger Games is a little harder Hunger Games is a competition. Not in an urban area. (stranded vs. populated area) Not all of the people are paid in the Hunger Games. No presence of Alcohol.

Death. The coaches teach only 2 people in the Hunger Games The Voice has a lot per coach. Coach has to come from their home district in Hunger Games. Coach in The Voice are usually successful and popular artist, which are the judges to determine if they get them or not.

Hunger Games. The main reason is that there is something called death. Once you die, you die. Compared to the other shows where if you lose, you do not die.

This would be hard to determine with The Real World and Jersey Shore. Jersey Shore probably has the edge because they make more money per season and never have to go back to their regular lives. The life of partying isnt that hard unless you become an addict in alcohol.

All of these shows at least have one thing in common, they are on T.V. Some maybe harder, some maybe easier, when it comes down to it. Its all about how much money they make.
