    A 21-year-old female victim reported being sexually assaulted in Grand Rapids on September 10, 2012. She said that around 9:30 pm, she was approached by two juvenile males while walking, who engaged her in conversation before physically and sexually assaulting her. The suspects, described as an Asian male around 5'3"-5'4" wearing a black shirt and jeans and a possible Hispanic male of skinny build on a BMX bike, also took items from the victim. The Grand Rapids Police Department is investigating and asking anyone with information to contact them or Silent Observer.

    CRIMINAL SEXUAL ASSAULT On Monday, September 10th, 2012 Grand Rapids Police responded to a local hospital on the report that a 21 year old female victim had been sexually assaulted in the City of Grand Rapids. The victim advised officers that at approximately 2130 hrs on September 10th, 2012, she was walking in the vicinity of Valley Av and W. Fulton St. when she was approached by 2 males, who appeared to be juveniles. The males made several attempts to engage the victim in conversation and then physically and sexually assaulted her. The suspects also took items from the victim, which the police later recovered. SUSPECT INFORMATION: Suspect #1- 14-15 yr old male with Asian features, 53-54 with pudgy build with shorter black hair. Suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt (possible tee) and medium color jeans. Suspect #2- 13-15 yr old possible Hispanic Male with a skinny build. Suspect was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and riding a BMX bike. A composite photo of Suspect #1 is attached or available at the Lieutenants Desk at Grand Rapids Police Department. The Grand Rapids Police Department Family Services Team is investigating. Anyone with further information about this incident is asked to call the Grand Rapids Police Department at 456-3604 or Silent Observer at 774-2345.
