Responsibilities: Responsibilities: - Associate Analyst will provide macro investment research and data analysis support to Global Macro Strategist in Equity Research - Research macroeconomic drivers and build models of consequence to the firm's equity portfolios, and global asset allocation decisions under the guidance of the strategist - Build and update an extensive library of macro and asset class data and correlations - Perform periodic macroeconomic review of the firm's equity portfolios - Update, maintain, and monitor macro-driven portfolios - Assist in writing macro and strategy reports and making PowerPoint presentations - Attend and summarize conferences and meetings with economists and strategists - Communicate research progress and results on a regular basis - Monitor academic research and practitioner literature to create and refine investment ideas and strategies

Qualifications: Qualifications: - Degree in financial engineering, econometrics, statistics, applied math, or other data analysis oriented disciplines with 2-6 years of experience in financial/economic data analysis - Excellent programming skills in MATLAB, deep knowledge of modeling and data analysis procedures, and experience with a popular data source such as Bloomberg, Haver, Datastream, etc. - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (a writing sample will be requested) - Must be a hard working, motivated, organized, able to work independently as well under guidance, overcome obstacles, and think creatively - Proven ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic and high work flow environment
