Superpower- is a state with a dominant position in the international system which has the ability to influence events and

its own interests and project power on a worldwide scale to protect those interests. A superpower is traditionally considered to be a step higher than a great power. Global hegemony- Domination, influence, or authority over another, especially by one political group over a society or by one nation over others (e.g.: internationally among nation-states, and regionally over social classes, between languages or even culture). Leading power- is defined as the ratio of the real power flowing to the load to theapparent power in the circuit,and is a dimensionless number between 0 and 1.

Potential superpower- is a state or a political and economic entity that is speculated to be, or to be in the process of becoming, a superpower at some point in the 21st century. Nuclear power- is the use of sustained nuclear fission to generate heat andelectricity International bloc- is a type of intergovernmental agreement, often part of a regionalintergovernmental organization, where regional barriers to trade, (tariffs and non-tariff barriers) are reduced or eliminated among the participating states. Population size- is defined as "the number of breeding individuals in an idealized population that would show the same

amount of dispersion of allele frequencies under random genetic drift or the same amount of inbreedingas the population under consideration." Ne is usually less than N (the absolute population size) and this has important applications in conservation genetics MIlitary strength- power with military character which is used in tipical situations!!!!
