LEBANESE REPUBLIC MINISTRY OF ENERGY AND WATER COUNCIL FOR DEVELOPMENT AND RECONSTRUCTION CONSTRUCTION OF MANZOOL DAM AND

LAKE AND RELATED WORKS (NORTH METN CAZA)

The Lebanese Republic supported by the Kuwaiti Fund for Arabic Economic Development intends to execute the Project of Construction of Manzool Dam and Lake and Related Works in Northern Metn Caza. The Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR) invites the pre-qualified Bidders with broad experience in similar public works to acquire the tender documents and execution drawings of the above mentioned project from CDR headquarters. The Bidders shall prove their financial and technical capacities that would render them as adequate contractors for the execution of such works, and shall furnish the necessary documents within their bid. The offer shall contain legal signed original credentials to prove the following: - The Bidder has successfully executed, as a prime contractor, excavation works not less than one million cubic meters during the last ten years; - The Bidder has successfully executed, as a prime contractor, at least one project in the public sector (dam, bridge, port, ) whose value exceeds /10/ million U.S.D during the last ten years; - The Bidders average annual turnover during the last five years shall exceed /10/ million U.S.D; - The Bidder shall prove his access to liquid assets not less than /2.5/ million U.S.D during a period of four months; - The Bidder has successfully executed during the last ten years, at least one project in potable water treatment plants having a cumulative design capacity exceeding 10,000 m3; The Bidders may obtain all necessary guidance and acquire the bidding documents pertaining to the above mentioned Project from the following location: Council for Development and Reconstruction Tallet El Srail Division of Legal Affairs Tenders Department Beirut, Lebanon. The Tender Documents shall be available at CDR starting from Thursday, 21/03/2013 at the price of 5,000 USD, settled via a certified bankers check to the attendance of CDR. The offers should be undersigned and submitted to CDR prior Monday, 20/05/2013 (12:00 p.m. local time). The offers shall be disclosed in a public meeting in which representatives of the Bidders may attend.
