WHAT IS PERSONALITY?

PERSONALIT Y
The sum total of the biological, psychological, socio -cultural and other traits of the person, manifested in the way he thinks, feels, acts and relates with others ( Roldan, 2003) The embodiment of feelings and behavior which make man the unique person that he is ( Avelino & Sanchez, 1996)

The unique way in which each individual thinks, acts and feels throughout life (Ciccarelli & White, 2009)

Personality refers to a combination of longlasting and distinctive behaviors, thoughts, motives, and emotions that typify how we react and adapt to other people and situations (Plotnik, 1999)

Genetics determine a persons physical and biological characteristics such as physical stature, color of the skin and hair.
