Ayodhya, a famous city which engraved its name in the history of the Hindu religion is the landmark where Lord Rama was born and his reign ruled to serve the people of Bharat. Ramkot

A place which is of utmost importance in city and visited by many pilgrims throughout the year. Ramkot Shrine is located on a hillock which is a major place of worship in Ayodhya city. On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami many pilgrims visit this place to pay their respects and worship Lord Rama with lots of cultural programs that held on this occasion. Chaitra Month in the Indian calendar year is celebrated with pomp and show in this city by decorating Ramkot Temple which leaves the visitors with some fascinating views. This place is amongst the ones which are most frequently visited by so many travelers who come to Ayodhya.
Nageshwarnath Temple

This temple is also a prime attraction in Ayodhya as it is believed that this temple was built by the Son of Lord Rama, Kush. As epic depicts that this place has seen so many violent attempt from the Nagas, this epic originated from the suspicion of stealing the valuable amulet by the people of Ayodhya. Lord Shiva's intervention in this matter stopped the catastrophic event before happening. Afterwards this place was rebuilt by the followers of Lord Shiva and from then this place is a sacred place for the people of Ayodhya and visited by so many pilgrims from all round the world.
Treta ke Thakur

This temple is also an important one as legends depicts that it is the place where Lord Rama performed Ashwagandha Yagya. This temple has original idols of Lord Rama, this temple which was on the Saryu river got wrecked with time. These idols are carved out of single black sandstone which is one of the oldest stones that are found on earth.
