InallDivisionISQTstherewillbeaflatrate$300perteamregardlessoftheminimumnumber ofplayers.Themaximumnumberofplayersis20. C. TheseruleswillbestrictlyenforcedatallSQTs.Violationwillresultinadisqualificationfrom advancementtotheChampionshipRound. 13. TeamArea A. QualifyingEligibilityStateQualifyingTournament A. TeamsareeligibletoqualifyfortheTexasState7on7Tournamentbyplacing1stor2ndinan SQT. B. StateQualifyingTeamsthatfailtoparticipateinaSQTthattheyhaveregisteredforwithoutprior notice,willbeeliminatedfromfurtherSQTplayandfromtheStateTournamentevenifthey havequalifiedfortheStateTournamentinapreviousSQT. C. PriorNoticeisdefinedasinformingthehostschoolbythe1stbusinessdayoftheweekofthe SQT.(SubjecttoBoardReview)Thetermofthedisqualificationisonecalendaryearfromthe dateofthemissedtournament. D. Aschoolmayonlyqualifyforthestatetournamentonceandtheyqualifyfortherespective tournamentbasedontheSQTinwhichtheyfirstqualify.IfaDivisionIIschoolfirstqualifiesata DivisionISQTthentheywillbeaDivisionIcompetitorattheStateTournamentandmaynot advancepastpoolplayinanyotherSQTregardlessofdivision.Likewise,ifaDivisionIIschool qualifiesfirstinaDivisionIISQTtheywillcompeteintheDivisionIIstatetournamentandcannot advancepastpoolplayinanyotherSQT,regardlessofdivision. 15. TournamentTieBreaker A. HeadtoHead,PointsScored,PointsAllowedwilldeterminethepoolwinnersorteamsto advance. B. Inathreewaytie,onlythescoresofgamesbetweenteamsinthetiewillbecounted.Oncea winnerhasbeendeclared,theremainingtwoteamswillrevertbacktoheadtoheadtobreakthe remainingtie. C. Aforfeitwillbetreatedthesameasaqualifyingteaminabracket.Theteamforfeitingorthe teamthathasqualifiedwillnotcountinthetiebreakerscenariowhendeterminingheadtohead, pointsscoredorpointsallowed.Inessence,abracketwithaqualifyingorforfeitingteam becomesathreeteambracket! 16. FanSeating A. Fansmaysitbehindtheirteamwhentheyareplaying.However,afterthecontest,theymust relinquishtheirpositiontothefansoftheteamscheduletoplay. B. Fansmaynotsitbehindsomeoneelsesteamduringacontest.

7ON7STATECHAMPIONSHIPTOURNAMENTS
A. Thetournamentwillbedividedintotwodivisions:DivisionI(5A6A)andDivisionII(1A4A) B. Eachdivisionwilldivideintosixteengroupsoffourandplayaroundrobin(3gameseachteam) C. Thetoptwoteamsfromeachpoolwillthenbeenteredintoa32teamsingleeliminationchampionship tournament.Theremaining32teamswillthenbeenteredintoasingleeliminationconsolation tournament. D. Ifthereisatieinpoolplay,headtoheadisthefirsttiebreaker,totalpointsscoredissecond,totalpoints allowedwillbethird.Afterthat,wewillflipacoin!Onceawinnerhasbeendetermined,wewillrevert backtoheadtoheadtodeterminetheotherplaces.Note:ina3waytie,onlythescoresofgames betweenteamsinthetiewillbecounted. E. Ateamremovedfromanystatequalifyingtournamentforfightingwillnotbeallowedtoparticipateinthe statetournamentforthatparticularyear. F. Anyteamleavingthestatetournamentcausingforfeitureofascheduledgame,willresultinsaidteam beingkeptoutofallstatequalifyingtournaments
