MakedaVoletta,alsoknownasQueenLioness,the
Body Scientist and the Renaissance Amazon is a Native
New Yorker born and raised in Harlem, NY with her twin
brother.MakedaisastudentofthedancesoftheAfrican
Diaspora especially those in the Americas of Congo
descent.ShesdancedforHaitianandCongolesefolkloric
companies in NYC and is a student of Afro Puerto Rican,
Haitian, Afro Dominican and Congolese drumming styles.
Makeda has a degree in Exercise and Sport Science and
Nutrition from the University of Delaware and completed
graduate work in Applied Physiology and Nutrition at
Columbia University. Makeda is a Certified Strength and
Conditioning Specialist, USA Olympic Weightlifting Coach
and Sports Nutritionist. For the past 7 years she teaches
"Sensual Strength Training," a class on how to use the cosmic yoni egg to strengthen and
connect to the muscles that support our sexual organs. Makeda has also been a Sacred
SexualEducatorandawarriorforWomen'sreproductiverightssinceshewasinJuniorHigh
