Our year is starting to wind down!! Can you believe it's August? Hope you are all enjoy-
ing your summer and have started on your Christmas gifts!

Since we will be naming the Newsletter this evening, I want to take the opportunity to
thank Kathy Solomon for doing such an amazing job putting it together each
month. It has become a great source of information for our members. Please remember
to contact her with information to include. If there is an event you want to share with
members, a recipe, a project,or if a fellow member is in need of our support, you can
send Kathy an email and she will include it in the newsletter.

cosmetic bags, bath salts, napkin
rings, and decoupaged items.

PICTURE DIRECTORY: We will be producing a picture di-
rectory of guild members to help get to know one another.
We will attempt to get all members pictures by 1 October.

QUILTS: Debbie Powell still has stacks of
quilt squares available if anyone is interested
in taking some and putting them together for
our charity efforts.

PILLOW CASES: Faith has is-
sued a challenge to all guild mem-
bers to make a pillow case for deliv-
ery to the Ronald McDonald House.
So far she has delivered 40 pillow
cases. The pillow cases are of-
ten used to carry belongings
home.
