WARRANT FOR SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

TOWN OF LANESBOROUGH
COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS
FISCAL YEAR 2010

BERKSHIRE, ss.   June 29. 2010

To any of the Police Officers of the Town of Lanesborough:

GREETINGS:  In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to 
notify and warn the inhabitants of the said Town, qualified to vote in Town affairs, 
to meet at the Lanesborough Elementary School in said Lanesborough on Tuesday, 
July   13,   2010   at   7:00   p.m.,   then   and   there   to   act   on   the   following   articles   of 
business:

ARTICLE 1. To   see   if   the   Town   will   vote   to   transfer  $25,000.00  from   the   Lanesborough 
School Expense account to the Mt. Greylock Regional School Expense account, 
or take any other action relative thereto.  

ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote to transfer  $20,000.00  from Police Dept. Salaries 

and/or Expenses to the Mt. Greylock Regional School Expense account, or take 
any other action relative thereto.  

ARTICLE 3. To see if the Town will vote to transfer $6,000.00 from the Highway Salary and/
or Town Roads and Dept. Maintenance account to the Mt. Greylock Regional 
School Expense account, or take any other action relative thereto.  

ARTICLE 4. To see  if  the  Town will vote to transfer  $5,000.00  from  the  Library Salaries 

and/or Expenses account to the Mt. Greylock Regional School Expense account, 
or take any other action relative thereto.  

ARTICLE 5. To see if the Town will vote to transfer  $4,000.00  from the Veteran Benefits 

account to the Mt. Greylock Regional School Expense account, or take any other 
action relative thereto.  

ARTICLE 6. To see if the Town will vote to transfer a sum of money from the Stabilization 
account  to the Mt. Greylock Regional School Expense account, or take any other 
action relative thereto.  (2/3 Vote Required) 

ARTICLE 7. To see if the Town will vote to reduce the appropriation for the Berkshire County 
Retirement account from  $269,061.00  to  $244,630.00,  or take any other action 
relative thereto.
              
ARTICLE 8. To   see   if   the   Town   will   vote   to   raise   and   appropriate   and/or   transfer   from 
available funds  $14,000.00  for the Assessors Salary account,  or take any other 
action relative thereto.

ARTICLE 9. To see if the Town will vote to establish a Community Outreach position for 
Senior Citizens and to raise and appropriate and/or transfer from available funds 
$2,600.00 as a stipend for the position, or take any other action relative thereto.

You are hereby directed to serve this Warrant by posting True and Attested 
copies thereof in three public places and convenient places in the Town, at least 
fourteen days before the time of holding said meeting.

Therefore, fail not, and make due return of this Warrant with your doings 
thereon to the Town Clerk at the place of said meeting.
