Solar System Projects

Step 1: Chose a planet

We will do this in class, have 2 or 3 in mind that you would want to do

Step 2: Create a poster about your planet.

Your poster will need to include:

A title
Pictures of your planet
Facts about your planet, including:
Size of planet
Where it is in the solar system
What the planet is made of
How long it takes to orbit the sun
How long it takes to rotate
If it has moons, how many and their names
If it has rings, how many
How far away it is from the sun
Anything else you find that you would like to include.

Step 3: Present your poster.

You will present your posters to classmates and friends during Space Day on
June 6, 2010. Posters will be displayed in the gym, and you will have a chance
to tell others what you have learned.
