Dear Amy, writing

I am writing to share my December school holiday plans with you.

From 3 December 2010 to 9 December 2010, I will be going to Malacca

to visit Uncle Lee. I will be taking the train to Malacca and I am really excited
about it as it will be my first ever train ride!. At Malacca, I plan to take a river
cruise with my uncle and his family as well as to visit the Water World Park.

After my trip, I will be spending three consecutive Saturdays at my best

friend’s house playing computer games. In the last week of December, I will help
my mother to clean the storeroom. Last but not least, I plan to watch the final
episode of Kid’s Race.

I hope that you will have a fun-filled school holiday as well!

Dear Sir/Mdm writing

I write to request for an exchange of the broken

CD which I had bought from your Shop on 1st
October 2010.

Upon opening the CD at home, I was discovered

that the CD was broken. At 5 pm, I brought the CD
back to your shop together with my original receipt
and asked for an exchange. However, the cashier
ET NOC
refused to give me an exchange. I am very upset
about this incident as I felt that I have been
unfairly treated. The receipt clearly states that
goods can be exchanged within three days of
purchase. Thus, I would appreciate it if you could
look into this matter and give me a new CD in

exchange for the broken one.

I look forward to receiving a favorable reply from

you soon.
