of the PO Process
1. In a few weeks time you would be commencing with the internship leg of the
PO program. During the internship you would be provided with hands-on
opportunities for on-the-job learning and practical application, and you
would also be expected to continue with acquisition of further knowledge
and skills.
2. Before the end of this week you will be informed of the location or reporting
location of your internship and the name of the official you will report to.
3. You will be provided with an Internship Workbook, which will be the basis of
your internship structure and which will also be used in the internship
evaluation process. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the
workbook is utilized in the manner that is laid down. The Workbook will be
provided to you before you leave the campus at the end of the third
trimester. Please go through the same in a thorough manner.
4. We recognize that you have been away from your family and near and dear
ones during the past nine months. We also recognize that all of you have
put in hard work and long hours of study and learning. We understand your
need to take a break with family and come back refreshed for the next leg of
the program. We therefore are happy to inform you that you will be
provided with a break period of about 2 weeks from the end of the third
trimester, and you will have to report to your internship location / Reporting
Authority on August 18, 2009. You may plan your travel itinerary
accordingly.
