What are 5 top issues really worrying employees? In DS Construction FZ co.

Path

Ans: We have made tactical plan to ensure that your going home as per contract is respected and executed.
Please ask your administrator to explain to you the plan and when likely you can proceed to India.

3. How long I should wait for my turn to get leave processed?

DEATH, per death each Worker voluntarily contributes 1 LIB DINAR and staff contributes 5 LIB DINARS,
An the management contributes 100% matching monies and entire amount is paid through cheque in
INDIA, to the family members of the deceased employee

5. Why I am having fear in my mind?

We strongly suggest developing good hobbies like playing sports, and praying and Yoga. This will enhance
confidence and strong mind to live with purpose.

YOGA @ WORK

Yoga is becoming popular in all parts of the world. For the restless mind it gives solace. For the sick, it is a boon.
For the common man, it helps to keep him fit, comfortable and beautiful. People practice it for increasing
memory, intelligence and creativity. With its multifold advantages it is becoming a part of education and potential
therapeutic tool to prevent and manage the psychosomatic diseases.

Human beings resources and its development are based on the synchronization of their mind and body. The
practice of Yoga is a perfect means to develop this harmony to synchronize their mind and body.

Why Yoga in Workplace?

To be efficient in any field – whether personal or professional – the key is to be relaxed and aware.
The benefits of Yoga are manifold and most of us are aware of this, although we have not had the opportunity to
learn more about Yoga. There are short-term benefits of Yoga and more long term benefits. Short-term benefits
include relaxation and rest; while long term benefits of Yoga for employees include more tangible results including:
 Less sick days lost
 Less back pain
 Better problem solving skills
 Improve posture and flexibility
 Mental clarity
 Stress management
 Improved Self Esteem
 The Happiness Factor
 Quicker response time
 Energy and Vitality
 Stronger Team
September 2010 VOL 1 ISSUE 3

How the practice of Yoga helps to improve the productivity of the workforce?
Any job can be done in two ways:
First – “ It is my duty, so, I have to do it”.
Second – “ It is my job, I love it and I want to do it.”
The “have to” attitude burdens you every minute of the hour, and every hour of the day leading to stress. The “want to”
attitude leaves you mentally refreshed, more productive and charged up after a long day of debugging the programs.
So how can you bring about a transformation from the first to the second way?
The secret lies in the attitude while a work is done. This attitude develops automatically once you have a healthy body
mind and vibrant spirit.
The answer seems convincing enough, but sadly it is locked up in box to which we don’t seem to have the key.
In your present situation, it is unlikely that you may know where the key is i.e. How to achieve that state mind. Ask
yourself, do you know how to relax?
If you do, but find it too time consuming to follow it, then you should also know that, actually it is not so.
One hour of Yogic practice in a day will give you 23 hours of confidence, of Health and Well being.
10 minutes of relaxation practice will yield in seven hours the work of nine hours.
So don’t feel guilty in spending that one sacred hour of the day to yourself. You are doing a favor to yourself and in the
bargain making the best insurance for your future.
It is the Yogic techniques which are the key to the box, the Yoga you shall practice here will encompass both your
professional and personal life.

The Yoga sessions shall consist of following

 Yogasansa (Yoga postures)
 Pranayama (Breathing techniques)
 Relaxation techniques
 Meditation

Yogasansa
Asanas help in gently stretching and exploring all parts of the body and can be adopted by persons of all size, weight,
state and age. They provide Physical Fitness while increasing awareness they strengthen the Spine - a basic necessity for
total Physical Health, and ease tension in the neck and shoulder reason.
Pranayama
Pranayama brings new levels of awareness by stopping or restraining distractions of the mind. These practices reduce
thoughts, conflicts etc. in the mind and thus increase the concentration, memory along with wonderful physiological
advantages. Pranayama helps therapeutically in managing asthma , hypertension, digestive disorders sinusitis etc.

Relaxation Techniques
By Relaxation one can release tension both in mind and body for a period of time to allow complete rest and
revitalization. It helps in a number of ailments , stress and tiredness. These techniques are an effective method to
break habits like smoothing, poor eating regimen etc

Meditation
This is the practice involving control of the mental functions which start from the initial withdrawal of the senses from
external objects. The basic principle of meditation is to develop internal awareness.
Thus these practices will increase the productivity of the employees and Promote positive physical and mental health.

It was Rob Janoff, the Art Director of Regis McKenna Advertising who in early 1977 were hired by Steve Jobs to define a new logo
and logotype.

According to Rob's own words...the real reason behind the bite is thus...

"I designed it with a bite for scale, so people get that it was an apple not a cherry. Also it was kind of iconic about taking a bite
out of an apple. Something that everyone can experience. It goes across cultures. If anybody ever had an apple he probably
bitten into it and that's what you get.

It was after I designed it, that my creative director told me: "Well you know, there is a computer term called byte".

And I was like: "You're kidding!" So, it was like perfect, but it was coincidental that it was also a computer term."

It's true that Apple differentiates itself from other PC manufacturers by producing premium products at premium prices, but
there are downsides to remaining a premium niche brand:

At some point a niche market becomes saturated. Apple currently has up to an estimated 10% of the PC marketplace. It's
unlikely that much more than 10% of consumers want a premium PC at a premium price. Using BMW as an analogy, BMW makes
great high end cars but unless they ever start producing cars and trucks that are salable outside their niche market they will
remain a niche player, with limited growth potential.

Some Mac users might say "So what? Apple is doing just fine as a premium PC manufacturer.". These are the same people who
keep hoping that Apple's market share will continue to grow. The problem is that Apple's market share growth is limited to the
available market for its products. Because of this, Apple's market share may be already reaching its limit.

EIGHT CLUES TO HAPPINESS

By- KHUSHWANT SINGH

Having lived a reasonably contented life, I was musing over what a person should strive for to achieve
happiness. I drew up a list of a few essentials which I put forward for the readers' appraisal.

1. First and foremost is GOOD HEALTH. If you do not enjoy good health you can never be happy. Any ailment,
however trivial, will deduct from your happiness.

2. Second, A HEALTHY BANK BALANCE. It need not run into crores but should be enough to provide for
creature comforts and something to spare for recreation, like eating out, going to the pictures, travelling or
going on holidays on the hills or by the sea. Shortage of money can be only demoralizing. Living on credit or
borrowing is demeaning and lowers one in one's own eyes.

3. Third, A HOME OF YOUR OWN. Rented premises can never give you the snug feeling of a nest which is yours
for keeps that a home provides: if it has a garden space, all the better. Plant your own trees and flowers, see
them grow and blossom, cultivate a sense of kinship with them.

4. Fourth, AN UNDERSTANDING COMPANION, be it your spouse or a friend. If there are too many
misunderstandings, they will rob you of your peace of mind. It is better to be divorced than to bicker all the
time.

5. Fifth, LACK OF ENVY towards those who have done better than you in life; risen higher, made more money,
or earned more fame. Envy can be very corroding; avoid comparing yourself with others.

6. Sixth, DO NOT ALLOW OTHER PEOPLE to descend on you for gup-shup. By the time you get rid of them, you
will feel exhausted and poisoned by their gossip-mongering.

7. Seventh, CULTIVATE SOME HOBBIES which can bring you a sense of fulfilment, such as gardening, reading,
writing, painting, playing or listening to music. Going to clubs or parties to get free drinks or to meet
celebrities is criminal waste of time.

8. Eighth, every morning and evening, devote 15 minutes to INTROSPECTION. In the morning, 10 minutes
should be spent on stilling the mind and then five in listing things you have to do that day. In the evening, five
minutes to still the mind again, and ten to go over what you had undertaken to do.

RICHNESS is not earning More, Spending more or saving more, but...

"RICHNESS IS WHEN YOU NEED NO MORE"
