VADEA Executive Positions
VADEA is run by a committee of volunteers. The VADEA Executive consists of the following positions:Co-President- State & National Issues & Special Projects; Co-President -Membership, Advocacy,Support; Co-President - Professional Development; Secretary; Treasurer; Membership Officer;Assistant Professional Development Officer; Conference Organising Officer; Promotions and EventsOfficer; Regional Support Officer; Publications Officer; K-6 Officer; Research Officer; Newsletter Editor;Website Officer; Gen Y Officer; Teacher Accreditation Officer and five Executive MembersAll positions are declared open for 2011. Please consider supporting your professional organisation bynominating for an executive position. Nominations are welcomed for any of the listed positions.
Nominations for the 2011 VADEA Executive
To nominate for the 2011 VADEA Executive please complete the attached nomination form and returnit by fax as soon as possible and
no later than 4 pm March 24
Members may view the final list of nominations for 2011 executive positions in the members section ofthe VADEA website (vadea.org.au) from March 26.

There are alternative ways in which a member may vote for a nominee for the VADEA Executive:

. Log into to the members section on the website using your membership number to make anabsentee vote. Nominees for the 2011 executive positions will be posted on the website from March 26.You can vote online using your membership number (this is recorded on your receipt of payment ofannual membership fees)
Online voting will be open from midnight March 26 - midnight March 29

Appoint a proxy to attend the AGM to represent your vote. For this process, please complete theaccompanying form, ensuring this detail reaches the secretary before 4pm March 29.
Please note you need to be a financial member for 2011 in order to be eligible to vote
Election Results
The results will be posted on the VADEA website on
Monday April 4.
