But more than all of that, this is the time of year that I am reminded about hope. Take Calendar 7
creation as an example. The harsh cold of winter plays havoc on our plants. They
wither and turn brown and stiff. But this time of year, the blooms return and we are
greeted with an explosion of color. Life begins to spring forth. The birds begin to sing
again. The warmth of the sun on our face signals to us that we can now return to the
outside and enjoy all of this new life. That brings excitement, newness, and anticipa-
tion. Hope has arrived! 04/01 Ed Ford

NEW PICTURE
DIRECTORY
We are in the process of putting together a new picture directory for Druid Hills UMC! A
picture directory is a wonderful way for us to put names with faces and have contact infor-
mation so we can keep in contact with each other.
In order for us to efficiently publish a new directory, we need some information from you.
If you would like to be in the upcoming directory, please fill out the form below and either
drop it in the offering plate or turn it into the office.
Our directory will not be complete without you!
Please return this form no later than April 17th. If you have any questions please contact the church office at 629-5688.

This Lenten season everyone is invited to join me for a study about the ministry of Jesus from His triumphal entry into
Jerusalem through His resurrection after death.
We will watch clips of the Franco Zeffirelli film, Jesus of Nazareth, and then discuss several aspects of Christ as love;
the power, authority and nourishment of love, love rejected and condemned, love to the end, and the victory of love. I
pray you will all join me as we examine the life, ministry, and example of our Risen Savior!
