Meghan Montero
I will graduate from Miami University of Ohio with a BS in IntegratedMath Education and a BA in Mathematics and Statistics. During mytime at Miami I was involved in a sorority where I participated in anumber of community service projects. I was also an active member of the Best Buddies program where I served on executive board as thetreasurer. I am proud to be a student at Miami because I feel as if I amwell equipped to be a successful teacher!I believe that all students should have experiences that shape them intothe adults they will become. I want to provide a safe, encouraging, andfun learning environment for my students so that they will bemotivated and excited to learn. All students should be created equallyand given the opportunity to share their ideas and beliefs, whilerespecting those of others.
Kendall Stanley
My name is Kendall Stanley, and I am currently a junior at MiamiUniversity. I am studying Mathematics/Statistics and IntegratedMathematics Education. I will graduate from Miami in May 2013certified to teach Mathematics for grades 7-12. I also coach high schoolvolleyball, and I enjoy working with students both inside and outsidethe classroom. I have a passion for both the mathematics content andhelping students develop my same passion for the subject, and I lookforward to having my own classroom one day!
