How did we attract/address our audience?

Our Main Male Character

Our main character, Adam, will attract a female audience due to his good looks. He is a heroic character therefore fits into the typical thriller genre convention of good vs. evil.

Our main Female Character

The female allows our primary male audience to be attracted to our film due to the aspect of male gaze within our thriller. She is attractive and this follows the typical genre convention of thrillers.

The Family in Our Film

The family in our film includes the typical features of a nuclear family, with two parents and a young baby. The baby allows our family audience to identify with the family and also to sympathise with them.

The Kitchen Setting

The Kitchen in our thriller represents a typical middle class well decorated kitchen that will address our primary audience of middle class females.

Family Lifestyle
The family have a nice home and a car as well as being well clothed. This attracts and addresses our middle class audience because they can identify with this family and their lifestyle.

The Bad Guy

The bad guy in our film is not typical to the thriller genre conventions of a terrorist. He is also quite young therefore audiences can identify with him and makes our idea that the enemy is closer than you think become more realistic and believable.
