It's ironical as most new babies being born are in the underdeveloped countries which have suffered of heavy burden. To anticipate the overgrown population growth, our government started campaigning a national family planning program in 1970. At first ten-year period of national campaign, Indonesia succeed in enlowering national birth rate. As we know, if we fail .to solve our population explosion, this country will be burdened with more than two hundred million people in the year 2000. Besides to minimize birth rate, family planning program is also meant to create a harmonious, mature family. It's very logical that a lowearning family with more children isn't able to give their children nutritious food and good education. On the contrary, a family with one or two children is expected to be able to do the best for their own family. Answer the questions correctly ! 1. To anticipate the overgrown population growth. What did the government do 2. What are the advantages of family Planning ? 3. How many children should a family have according to the Family Planning ? 4. What will we get if we fail to solve our population explosion ? 5. What countries have a complicated population growth problem ? 6. How many people heed nutritive food, health sanitation and qualified homes? 7. Have most. new babies being born are in the underdeveloped countries suffered of heavy burden ? 8. Does a big family have some effects of their children's education ?

THE PAST VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL Before our Ministry of Education and Culture adopted a new national education system in 1989, it was an established fact that most independent vocational high school i.e. Economic High School, Handicraft High School, Music High School, Technical High School, Tourism High School, Nursing High School and Art High School had existed in our community. Those schools had gradually developed to better condition because of their specializations. Each group had got its standard syllabus enabling their students to complete their lessons in given time. Each of them had also a set of job-training like to be done by the second year or third year students. It was designed to give the students a real experience in working. This method of introducing a useful experience for students is important for them to keep in balance between the lessons or theory they had obtained and the practice. Most offices, factories and other institutions welcomed the students to enter their businesses in order to learn many things about work. THE DOUBLE LIFE OF ALFRIED BLOOGS These days, people who do manual work often receive far money than clerks who work in offices. People who work in offices are frequently referred to as "White Collar Workers" for the simple reason that they usually wear a collar and tie to go to work. Such is human nature, that a great many people are often willing to sacrifice higher pay for the privilege of becoming white collar workers. This can give rise to curious situation/ as it did in the case of Alfred Boggs who worked as a dustman for the Ellesmere Corporation. When he got married, Alf was to embarrassed to say anything to his wife about his job. He simply told her that he worked for the corporation. Every morning, he left home dressed in a fine black suit. He then changed into overalls and spent the next eight hours as a dustman. Before returning home at night, he took a shower and changed back into his suit. Alf did this for over two years and his fellow dustmen kept his secret. Alf's wife has never discovered that she married a dustman and she never will, for Alf has just found another job. He will be earning only half as much as he used to, but he fells that his rise in status is well worth the loss of money. From now on, he will wear a suit all day and others will call him "Mr. Bloggs" / not "Alf". (Adopted from Developing Skill) Answer these questions in note form to get your points : 1. What did Alfred Bloggs tell his wife when they got married ? 2. How did he dress each morning before he left home ? 3. Did he change into overalls or not ? 4. How did he spend the day ? 5.
