    The Steps to be followed to install the SAP47EE Pre Installation (Java) Oracle CI DB SAPGUI POST

    Install JDK
    Download this file as suggested in the installation manuala and perform the installation This is required for SAP 4.7 and above installation : File : j2sdk-1_4_2_04-windows-i586-p

    Continue installation Note : dont change the location

    Setup Virtual Memoy


    Right Click on MYCOMPUTER Properties Performance Options

    Click on Performance Options.

    Click on Change

    Note : Set values for Virtual Memory : it must be between 3 to 4 times the size of the physical RAM.

    No screen saver

    Enteries in HOST file


    Setup Hostname in hosts file under C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc 192.168.0.1 Satyam SAPTRANSHOST

    Maximize data through-put for network applications ( Reducing the FILE CACHE)

    Select this option and click OK
