    Along with the rest of the nation, the Morris Township Police Department extends our sympathy to the Aurora, Colorado community. Although the tragic events of July 20th appear to be an isolated incident the Morris Township Police offer these simple reminders when you are at places that attract large gatherings. Be vigilant, not fearful Be aware of suspicious activity, persons or vehicles

    Don't hesitate to call police if you see something suspicious Police officers spend a large part of their day "checking out" suspicious activity

    Be prepared

    Identify EXITS in any large venue Develop an ESCAPE PLAN ahead of time Utilize the "buddy system" and be responsible for each other Designate a meeting place outside of the venue

    We want to remind our community to live your normal lives, without apprehension.
