Six-Sigma The five sigma six steps are an attempt at convincing people to buy into our ideas.

The emphasis however is on the intellect rather than on emotions. Definition Seeking out characteristics that customers think are important is done with the customer in mind. This is an attempt to focus everyone in the organization on the customer. Customer centredness is an attempt for the organization to sell itself to its customers totally. Measurement Most of the learning processes involve categorization which emphasises on in measurement. Categorization is an attempt to focus customers and staffs on the real issues so that they convince them that what has been indentified is the right thing. Improvement Improvement is customer focused endeavor. Where services and products are continually being improved, then customers are persuaded to come back again and again because there are always surprises. Internally continuous improvement has to be a spontaneous endeavor and must therefore be sold to staff properly so that the company maintains the innovative culture that will always attract customers to it. Control In the wider context this is an attempt to get customers to buy into your ideas since customers are attracted by continuity that is provided by control.
