What is happiness?
Happiness is something we all seem to know about but it is very difficult to explain. Happiness is an emotion in which a person experiences feelings ranging from contentment and satisfaction to bliss and intense joy.

Task: Refer to Activity sheet 1) Complete the phrase To me happiness is ? (Write a paragraph, give examples!) 2) Compare your ideas with the person next to you. Are your thoughts similar or different? 3) Write down up to five things that makes you personally, happy. Then hang your happy thoughts on the washing line.

Plenary
Lets share some of our happy thoughts!! Different students volunteer to pick thoughts from the washing line and discuss them.
