SURENDRA PATIL MRI LEFT SHOULDER Multiplanar multiecho MR imaging of left shoulder joint was done. Gleno-humeral articulation looks normal. No focal osseous lesion is seen. No joint effusion is noted. Supraspinatous tendon shows minimal hyperintense signal at its attachment s/o tendinopathy. No muscle atrophy is seen. Hyperintense signal is seen in the intraarticular horizontal segment of LHBT s/o tendinosis. Minimal effusion is noted in subdeltoid bursa. Minimal hyperintense signal is seen in the anterior part of superior labrum with tear of antero-superior labrum. . A tiny para-labral cyst is noted (2mm). Normal appearances of posterior labrum. A/C joint looks normal. Inferior surface of acromion is flat. Normal flow voids of axillary vessels.

IMPRESSION 1. Hyperintense signal in supraspinatous tendon s/o tendinopathy. 2. Tendinosis of intraarticular horizontal segment of LHBT. 3. Antero-superior labral tear with a tiny para-labral cyst.
