Classroom Rules

Listen to your teacher be quiet while she speaks Sharpen your pencil before class, or when your teacher is not speaking Keep your desk and area clean, throw all trash in the trash can on your way out of the classroom

Materials needed every day


Spiral notebook Pen/pencil Planner Supplies needed for projects: Color pencils, markers or crayons. Ruler, scissors, pencil sharpener, glue stick, etc.

When a student chooses to break a rule the consequences of their decisions are as follows: Verbal warning Teacher and Student conference Guidance counselor referral Parent is contacted Lunch detention Discipline referral severe consequences Meeting with Mrs. Cornwell

Make up work:

Standard rule for excused absence:

The number of days absent + one day Once the student is back from an absence he/she is responsible to ask for the make up work if any was done in class prior to class, check the weekly schedule to know what you missed. After three days from returning to school work will be considered late (20% penalty) Unexcused absences same as above.
