Congratulations! Your proposal has been accepted for presentation at the 2012 Annual Conference of the American Reading Forum in beautiful Sanibel Island, FL. The conference will take place December 5-8, 2012. If you are co-presenting, it is your responsibility to notify all other presenters of the proposals acceptance. Please note that all presenters are expected to register and attend the conference in order to present and dis cuss the paper with the audience. As noted in the call for proposals, all presenters are also invited to submit their papers for consideration for publication in the Yearbook of the American
Reading Forum. Reactors and members of the audience are invited to write reactions for such considerations. If you are no longer able to present, you must notify us by Friday,

June 15, 2012. Otherwise, for planning purposes, please register for the conference no later than October 1, 2012. You will receive an email in the fall with an official conference schedule and other pertinent information. All proposals were blind-reviewed and reviewers provided comments for each proposal. Feedback regarding your proposal is below. Please attend to these comments and suggestions as you prepare your presentation. Reviewer Comments: The proposal is well written and this comprehensive review of the literature is relevant to the field; however, the topic of technology and its influence on writing instruction/assessment will need to be aligned to the conference theme. To that end, in your presentation you will need to focus on the theme that technology can improve the inter activeness of writing between students and/or groups of students. We look forward to another excellent conference, filled with engaging and thoughtful sessions. Congratulations, again, and we will see you in December!
