The general concept for the TFN Sportsfield is described on this poster. Input of TFN community members is important for the park to be a valuable community amenity. Please take a moment to let us know your thoughts. 1. Take a look at the information on this panel. Think how this park might be used by you and your family or the community. Think of opportunities for recreation and cultural expression. Think of how the facility will be used and shared by all age groups within the community. 2. Description
PURPOSE: Provide a central community park to serve as a recreational amenity for TFN members, and residents of development planned within the adjacent Enterprise Lands. STATISTICS (approximate): Total Site = 28,600 m2 PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM A grass sports field approximately 65 x 95 m Sport box with concrete/asphalt surface for lacrosse/ball hockey/basketball Play and plaza spaces for children, youth and families A carving shelter Parking Servicing for water and power supply and surface drainage Pedestrian and cycle connections to adjacent potential pathway network Landscaping with indigenous plant species.
