201219 Dated 20 August 2012 TO: Candidates of the 2012 Freshmen and Special Elections FROM: Ateneo Commission on Elections RE: Rescheduling of Bond Returning According to COMELEC Memo 201208 with subject Ateneo COMELEC Calendar for SY 2012-13, 1 Semester, bond returning shall commence on August 20 (Monday) and shall end on August 31 (Friday). However, the document also mentions that due to unforeseen circumstances, [some of these dates] may be subject to change. Should a rescheduling happen, an announcement shall be posted as soon as possible in the form of another memorandum and/or through a post in the commissions official Facebook page.

Given the postponement of the 2012 Freshmen and Special Elections as well as the proclamation of August 20 and 21 as holidays, the Board of Commissioners has deemed it necessary to reschedule the period for bond returning to: August 27 to September 7, 2012. For more details regarding this, please wait to be contacted via email by the Commissions Finance Department within the week. Likewise, database of violations for both candidates and coalitions may be viewed through the following link: http://bit.ly/Violations-Database. This includes bond deductions and the amounts to be returned to the respective candidates and coalitions. However, it must be noted that violations, especially online campaign-related, are still being processed and will be finalized by August 23 (Thursday). Nevertheless, should additional violations be recorded to the database, the individuals involved will be sent emails informing them of their respective violations. Appeals and complaints concerning violations will be considered only until September 1 (Saturday), 11:59 PM.
