Ganti sa mga epal

Tandaan mukha nila, tapos wag iboto

are supermarket commodities that need to be advertised, ani Brillantes. With this, I strongly support and urge the passage of the bill of my good friend [Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago] on premature campaigning, aniya.

Technically no law is being violated, ani Comelec Chair Sixto Brillantes Jr. The best way to deal with these epals [is to] remember their faces now and forget their names come election day, ani Brillantes kahapon sa kanyang Twitter account na @ChairBrillantes.
The President has accepted Mr. Punos resignation effective immediately, ani Lacierda, sinabing [i]t clears the air that what some people refer to as KKK (kaibigan, kaklase at kabarilan) is not true. This is a development that certainly would put to rest all these accusations of the fact that Under-

secretary Puno is close to the President and hes being coddled and thats not true, dinagdag ni Lacierda. I believe I have carried out my assigned duties to the best of my ability. Moving forward, I have resigned as DILG undersecretary to support the Presidents decision to give a free hand to the incoming secretary in forming a new team, ani Puno, tinukoy si Secretary Manuel Roxas II. I wish to thank

President Aquino for his trust and confidence in giving me the opportunity to serve our country and people, pagpapatuloy pa ni Puno

Lets accept it: the Bureau of Immigration is one of the agencies embroiled in controversial issues in the past years. So pardon me if I take this opportunity to present matters that caused my dismay, and more importantly, our Boss, panimula niya sa talumpati niya na napakinggan sa radyo dzRB ng pamahalaan.

Its clear there was a conspiracy here, and theres no excuse that will be acceptable, aniya sa tila bulang paglaho ni Kim habang mahigpit na binabantayan ng mga immigration agent. Those found to have been negligent, and to have conspired: The law will make no distinction.

Dapat may ipasok kang kakaiba.

Sana maipalabas na next year.

Picking up the pieces of broken life

DEAR Joe, Im Di, 28 and working in one of the top banks here in Manila. I have a boyfriend, Bernard. I chose him despite the fact that hes only 23 and have two kids outside marriage. Our relationship started when he was still in college. Differences in our age and position made him insecure and possessive.
Nobody among my family and friends liked him but that made me love him more. As years passed, his flaws like pride, short-temperament and extreme possessiveness became evident. But I chose to love him. I wanted to make our relationship work. The real trouble started after two years of being together. He found a good job, a car and became a little too confident. His attitude towards me changed then. He was neglecting me. He never calls unless I text him and his irritability got into me and led me to end things. But, by the end of two months, I couldnt bear the loneliness anymore. He called and asked me to be with him again, if not, hell get another girlfriend. I felt threatened so I swallowed my pride and got back with him. Being back together made me happy, but also made me insecure. Whenever he fails to call me Id be suspicious. I still refrained from nagging but one day my best friend saw Bernard with another girl. Joe, when I heard this, I was shattered. But I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. I texted him to call but he never did. Days later I asked him about the incident and to my dismay, he flared up. I was destined to know the truth so after that I talked to the person he mentioned in his alibi and she denied having anything to do with the incident. Feelings of anger, hurt, betrayal and desire to avenge my agony are overwhelming. I dont know what to do, Joe. Was he worth all the love and attention Ive given him? How can I pick up the pieces of my broken life? Please, help me, Joe. Thank you for reading my letter. I hope that through this letter, others would be spared from going through the same experience.

Love Notes
Joe D Mango
www.lovenotes.com.ph

Goodbye and more power to Love Notes. Sincerely Di Dear DI, Loving someone with all our hearts is not all that it takes to make a relationship last. Even if we prove our worth in many ways, seen and unseen, we still cannot be given a guarantee of permanence and loyalty in our relationships. Di, Bernard may have been worth the love and attention that you have given him. But he is definitely not worth sharing the rest of your life with. You loved Bernard more than yourself but he just loved himself. You have given so much into this relationship than what was expected of you but he just took advantage. You were willing to forgive but he was never even sorry for what he did. And finally, you have given up the fight. But, just how difficult is it to forget someone we still love? How can we move on when we have left ourselves with nothing to start over with? Di, relationships

that work are those that do not live on love alone but strive on mutual respect, kindness and loyalty. Even in our best effort to keep our bonds strong and steadfast, there are just times when we have to accept that not all relationships are meant to last. Loving someone doesnt always mean that were are going to be loved in return. Being faithful doesnt always mean that your partner will always be true to you. Getting into a relationship is always a risk. There is just no guarantee that it will work the first time, or even the second or third time, if there will be any. Sometimes, love means having to say goodbye to someone you would have wished to become one with. Sometimes, love means getting hurt and being broken into pieces. But remember, even with all the pain that comes with loving we should never let our hearts be destined to anger and imprisoned by our need for justice. Di, when love comes into our lives we should be thankful because it brings out the best and the good in all of us. But, when it leaves us and goes against our will we

should only be sorry for a while for there should be no room hatred to grow in our hearts. Di, when someone we love leaves us shattered, we never have to pick up the broken pieces of our lives for we never lose what we give unselfishly out of love. We only lose so

much of ourselves when we wallow in bitterness and in our unwillingness to forgive. Let us always remember that a love lost is not a love lost forever. In our own time we will find the person meant to be one with us. Some have already found

their destiny, others are still searching. Yours may already be next in line but the only way to find out is to leave yesterday behind, take the next step today and look forward with hope and with fervent prayer for that love that will last us all eternity.

MVP sa POC? L

A workable arrangement can always be discussed. I hope MVP would heed the clamor. He would be a blessing to Philippine sports, ani Romasanta.

Cong. Peping is open to a compromise if its for the good of the POC. Like his businesses, MVP can manage the POC professionally, wika ni Romasanta.

I proved that I can win the grand slams, sabi ni Murray. And I proved that I can last four-and-a-half hours and come out on top against one of the strongest guys physically that tennis had probably seen, especially on this surface. INQUIRER WIRES

We were relaxed because we knew we had the No. 1 spot, ani Gorayeb.

Nakasama rin sa gulo sina Stephan Schrock at Jason Sabio It was a heated, physical and highly competitive game that we wanted to win badly but these do not excuse some of our players for losing their temper, sabi ni team manager Dan Palami. Smart Gilas squad flies to Tokyo

By Musong R. Castillo
SMART Gilas-Pilipinas leaves for Japan today to see action in the fourth Fiba Asia Cup (formerly Stankovic Cup), looking to land at least a top three finish to be able to head straight to the Fiba Asia World Championship qualifying next year. Together for more than a month now and with a Jones Cup tucked under its belt, the team will be up for a tougher war in the capital city of Tokyo, with China bracketed with the Filipinos in Group A together with Lebanon. But ex-Olympian Freddie Webb, speaking during the successful PBA Press Corps Awards Night on Monday, said that he expects the Filipinos to do well. These guys (Smart-Gilas II), we have to salute them. Nobody took a second look at that team, Webb, a member of the 1972 PH Team to the Munich Games, said. What made that team good is that they have courage. Coach Chot Reyes, just like he did before leaving for Taipei, is not fanning the hopes of this basketball-crazy nation. Like they did in the Jones Cup, especially against taller teams Iran and the US, Smart Gilas will have speed as its primary weapon, Reyes said. LA Tenorio leads that speedy bunch with Gabe Norwood, Jeff Chan, Larry Fonacier and Gary David providing the bulk of the scoring together with Marcus Douthit.

PEOPLES REVOLUTION or REVOLUTIONIZE PEOPLE?

Last year, the Arab Spring produced a wave of revolu ons. It toppled dictators and changed the leaders of na ons. But does a change in leaders also produce a change in leadership? Not necessarily. As our own history has taught us, People Power Revolu ons only change the leaders. But a change in leadership the way our leaders lead does not always follow. The past quarter-century has been a slow process of changing our culture of leadership despite the many mes we try to change our leaders. Although these revolu ons refer to the world of poli cs, the same slow process of changing the way we lead can also be seen in the world of businesses and organiza ons. This is the space that PMAP can ll this year. The 2012 PMAP Annual Conference theme, REVOLUTIONIZING PEOPLE MANAGEMENT, symbolizes the new mandate: Change the way we lead our people. To revolu onize is to change the leadership, without having to resort to changing the leaders. The me has come to make a bold choice: Will we risk a revolu on by our people? Or will we choose to revolu onize the way we lead our people?
