    Water and My Life in My Village

    Bukittinggi is a small town located at the foot of 2 mountains, Singgalang and Merapi. This town had been a center of Dutch government. They made complete facilities for the small town, like school building, water supplier, and so on. Water supplier was built by Dutch colonies, which come from small village at the foot of Singgalang Mountain. This supplier is running until now. And meet the need of the people in Bukittinggi. But, not all of the people get this facility because they have the well as resource of water. The water is use to meet the need of life such as drinking, bathing, washing, cooking, and others. Bukittinggi town is rich of tourism resort and beautiful scenery. Some of tourism resort makes the water as tourism interest. For example, Sianok Canyon which has the small river where the water keep running. And also Bukittinggi has swimming pool as the center of water sport. Now a days, the government campaign to use the water as good as possible. And the people are suggested to use the water correctly, and this program is named water-saving.
