    Calamine is zinc oxide with a small amount of ferric oxide, & contains, after ignition not less than

    98.0% of Zno. Pink powder. Odourless. Tasteless. Insoluble in water. Soluble in mineral acids Calamine 150g ZnO 50g Bentonite 30g Sodium Citrate 5g Liquefied Phenol 5ml Glycerine 50ml Rose water base upto 1000ml. Triturate the calamine, the ZnO & the Bentonite with a solution of sodium citrate in about 700ml of rose water & add the liquefied phenol, the glycerine & sufficient rose water to produce 1000ml. Storage- well closed container. Category- protective.
