Purple Secure Systems awarded framework agreement contract for Specialist Cloud Services
Purple Secure Systems are pleased to announce that they have been awarded a framework agreement contract for the Specialist Cloud Services through the Government Procurement Service (previously Buying Solutions). Cloud computing has brought about a significant change in the economics and sustainability of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The government has sought to facilitate the purchasing of services by public sector organisations and in particular the purchasing of G-Cloud Services by means of establishing a series of framework agreements through its central purchasing agency. The G-Cloud is an iterative programme of work to deliver fundamental changes in the way the public sector procures and operates ICT. Managing Director, David Harris, commented that Purple is committed to the governments strategy to adopt cloud computing and delivering computing resources. As an agile, growing Systems and Software Engineering company, Purple is well placed to meet the service requirements of many public sector organisations and our continued emphasis on quality will support the government in delivering these objectives.
