GO MPLS Design and Descriptions


EATC has implemented the latest technologies in its deployed network infrastructure with a
resilient and scalable architecture. EATC IP/MPLS network offers a range of cost effective IP
solutions that simplify the operation of data networks. It allows the customers to build an open
and scalable network combining the flexibility of IP with the security of traditional data networks.
The GO IP/MPLS Backbone is spread across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The network has been
built using state of the art technologies and therefore can support different types of Next
Generation Networking (NGN) applications such as; Voice, Video, Multimedia etc. The network
is partitioned into Western, Central and Eastern Regions. Each Region is divided into North and
South bounds, equipped with multiple (Gigabit-capable) state of the art Core Routers. In addition,
each region is served by Aggregation Routers equipped with high-density Gigabit capacity.
EATC IP/MPLS based network provides fully symmetrical access (same download and upload
speeds) and dedicated Data throughput i.e. the customer can make full use of the prescribed
bandwidth.
EATC POPs are connected thru self-healing ring.

GO Core Network
The GO IP/MPLS Backbone spans throughout Saudi Arabia and incorporates advanced
technology, enabling it to accommodate various types of Next Generation Networking (NGN)
applications, including Voice, Video, and Multimedia. EATC possesses two data centers, a primary
DC in Riyadh and a DR DC in Jeddah. All global connections are established through T1 providers
originating from distinct landing stations, arriving in Saudi Arabia via the Arabian Gulf and Red
Sea. This enables EATC to distribute internet traffic across different cable systems, ensuring
network redundancy to address any cable breakdown and guarantee uninterrupted customer
services in the event of a single cable disruption.

GO Connectivity Solutions
Dedicated Internet Access:
EATC's Dedicated Internet service is designed to offer dedicated point-to-point Internet
connectivity to businesses throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This service is characterized
by its exceptional reliability, fast speed, and high-quality Internet service, achieved through a
contention ratio of 1:1. The service was developed to cater to the increasing demand for
nationwide business data circuit connectivity, providing data rates ranging from 1 Mbps
dedicated speeds up to several Gbps level between the GO IGW and customer premises. A high-
end Fiber/Licensed Microwave link connects the customer premises to the Atheeb MPLS
network, which, in turn, directly links the customer to the IGWs. The service is required to be
terminated to a Router or Firewall that supports virtual VLAN. Furthermore, the service is fully
managed by network management systems (NMS) for the MPLS, IGW, and Fiber/Microwave
links.

Virtual Private Network (VPN):


VPN is a standard, reliable and flexible connectivity resource that uses the standard internet
protocols. It helps customers to connect two or more sites, buildings or branches through a single
virtual private network that enables flexible and continuous data and applications exchange
between different users and nodes. This solution enables enterprises to develop VPN
communication over GO MPLS network. The solution provides private/secured connection of
customer’s main location such as Data Centre to remote clients, which can be customized
according to the technical requirements. IPVPN provides connectivity among branch offices
through different and modern access technologies:

GO Carrier Grade Microwave


GO MPLS network infrastructure serves customer subscribing to the DIA or VPN service. The last
mile connectivity is over Microwave utilizing licensed frequency and carrier grade equipment to
ensure optimum performance, availability, and security, and it’s available all over KSA.

Fiber Optical Network


For higher speeds the last mile connectivity is provided over optical fiber network. The fiber
based service offers the ultimate in reliability and speed required by large enterprises and
government entities.

The GO Business care (GBC) will be the first point of contact for our business customers. GBC
team will provide the first level solution. All unresolved technical calls related to MPLS and service
platform will be routed to the domain specialists for further solution.

Technical Support Escalation Procedure
Contact with GO support should be initiated one or combination of the following methods:
1. Send email to GBC@GO.COM.SA an auto‐reply should be received confirming the delivery of the
email message.
2. Call the toll‐free number 800‐111‐1010 and speak with a GBC Engineer.
At any step of the escalation procedure, if there is no response from the contact channel with in 1 hour,
please escalate the issue to the next contact channel.

Terms and Conditions


1. The prices offered are in Saudi Riyals.
2. The minimum contractual period for each circuit/service shall be one year and will be counted from the date of
invoicing.
(A) by the expiry of the Minimum Commitment Contractual Period, the service contract shall be
Terminated automatically unless a (30) days’ written notice (the Notice) of the intention to renew is
submitted prior to the contract expiry date.
(B) In case of terminating the service before the minimum contractual period for reasons pertaining to the
Customer, Customer shall notify (30) days in advance to EATC to terminate contract.
(C) Any cancellation request must be confirmed by EATC to terminate the service within five working days.
(D) PO once placed cannot be cancelled.
3. GO reserves the right to suspend or terminate the service upon written notice to the customer after non-
payment or delay of payment for more than 30 days from the date of invoice submission.
4. Upon sending the purchase order, the customer must make a 100% advance payment of NRC and 100% advance
of the first quarter MRC.
5. All offered prices for NRC and MRC are conditional on clear line of sight (CLOS) and do not include any additional
costs to cover poles, towers, or other technologies like 4G, VSAT, or ADSL.
6. The customer is responsible for arranging and providing all necessary permits and/or approvals for installations
at their branches.
7. All monthly recurring charges (MRC) must be paid monthly in advance within five days from the date of invoice
submission.
8. The customer is responsible for arranging and providing all cabling (UTP and Fiber) or any passive components
(patch panels, patch cords, cabinets, etc.) or any internal civil/electrical/network cabling between the indoor
unit and edge router.
9. If the customer tampers, damages, misuses, or exposes the installed equipment to theft or loss, GO will not be
responsible for the installed equipment, and the customer will be charged the value of the installed equipment.
10. Last mile (LM) equipment supplied by GO to each location will remain the property of GO at all times. If the
service is amended, terminated, or expired, GO reserves the right to claim back the LM equipment provided to
the customer.
11. Any manual corrections or changes made to this signed document will be null and void, except in emergency
cases where both parties must sign and stamp the correction/corrections placed by the same authorized
signatories only.
12. The customer will be charged with a 15% VAT of the invoice value in addition to any other regulatory future
taxes.
13. The customer has the right to dispute the invoice by sending a written notice within 15 days of the invoice
receiving date to EATC. If the customer does not dispute the invoice within 15 days, the invoice will be deemed
as correct, and the customer has waived their right to dispute.
14. Regardless of the customer's right to dispute, the customer must pay the undisputed amounts of the invoice
from the issue date, and the disputed amounts shall be adjusted on the next month's invoice if EATC determines
it to be in error.
15. If the customer misuses or abuses any of the provided services, EATC shall not be liable for such actions, and
the customer shall be solely responsible for all liabilities, including but not limited to fees, fines, or violations
imposed by any government body. The customer agrees to indemnify and hold EATC harmless from any liability,
loss, or damage they may suffer as a result of claims, demands, costs, or judgments against them arising out of
those actions.

Acceptance
Hereby, I, the undersigned (Agent/Authorized person on behalf of the CAREEM
TRANSPORTATION COMPANY FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY agree to provide (Etihad
Atheeb Telecom Co.) with any information that it requires for the establishing and/or auditing
and/or administering my accounts and facilities in addition to that and I authorize it to obtain
and collect any information as it deems necessary or in need for regarding me, my accounts and
facilities therewith, from the Saudi Credit Bureau (SIMAH) and to disclose and share (inclusive of
Data Pooling) that information to the said company (SIMAH) or to any other agency approved by
the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA).
Upon signing this agreement, I confirm having read and understood the Agreement
prices/Contract/agreement terms and conditions and accepted all the same.

Notes for Acceptance:
1. The signing by both parties constitutes authority to proceed with the implementation of the
solution as detailed above. No variation may be made without the express written agreement of
both parties.
2. Feasibility is subject to survey and capacity check at the time of the order.
3. Lead Time: Installation, Configuration, Testing, and Commissioning require 6~8 weeks for the
Microwave link and 10-12 weeks for the Fiber link from the date of receiving the PO and advance
payment.
4. AFTER A SUCCESSFUL CIRCUIT TESTING and achieving the BW ordered, customers have five
business days to report any concerns with regards to installation or BW or any other operational
issues. In case nothing is reported during the 5 business days, the circuit shall deem operational
and Customer will be billed automatically.
