Representation.

In RnB music magazines woman are presented in a sexy way. They are dressed and posed in different ways to other genres. As well as being sexy they also portrayed as very feminine. The way they are dressed in very swagger. As you can see Rhianna has an Aztec crop top on and brightly colour shorts. They highly contrast but this is what makes RnB. Also artists are portrayed to wear a lot of bling, bracelets, earnings, long necklaces. Woman in the RnB industry normally are presented as the people who dye their hair bright colours for example red blue purple. Many artist go through a stage of doing this. In this magazine Rhianna is portrayed as the pretty/sexy girl next door type. We can build this conclusion from her vibrant hair Colour portraying the sexy vibe and the clothes she has been put in as it shows off a lot of skin therefore leading to attracting the male gender.

MEN
In music magazines men are presented as being The big man. The way they are positioned on the front cover of the magazine is that they are always faced front on, never looking away from the camera, it makes it look like they are looking at you, persuading you to come and read the magazine. The way drake is portrayed on the front cover of this magazine is aggressive, this is because of his facial expressions, the writing on his top and the bling around his neck. This could put an negative stereotype because it would label all RnB artists as thugs. Magazines with male artists on the front cover would appeal more to males because they look hard stern and feisty and every boys dream is to become someone who no one is scared of. The Colour connoates youth, action and hope.

GROUPS
In music magazines groups are represented as they stick together as one. in the images of groups no one is left out but the main leader or singer may be put to the front of the image to show they is the most important but they would never leave one band member out because then they are not showing the complete band. In this image of take that, its a fun laughable image, it draws the readers attention to bands more because it shows how well they get along together, it shows that bands are there to help each other and stand by when they need someone.
