SPOTLIGHT Please ensure that your child has their PE kit in school with them each day. As it is now colder, you may send in jogging bottoms/leggings and a jumper for your child to wear during outdoor games sessions so that they keep warm. Please also ensure that your child has suitable footwear for outdoor sports. Trainers or pumps are perfect. However, your child will still need their shorts and t. shirt for gymnastics and dance sessions. Please ensure kits are left in school to be used as required. School Linking Project Year 5C are looking forward to beginning their School Linking Project this term with St Christopher's School in Romiley, Stockport. We have prepared a class 'identity box' which is to be swapped over with the other class. We are looking forward to our first trip which is being planned where all of the children from the two classes will meet and spend the day together. Year 5C are looking forward to making new friends and seeing what other Year 5 children learn in another school. Children In Need Friday 16th November will be Children in Need Day and as usual children will be able to come into school wearing their own clothes and preferably also wearing something spotty, for a 1 donation which will be passed on to the BBCs Children in Need Appeal. We will let you know how much money is raised towards the appeal by school.
