    Calculations of paper turbine project:

    Runner Specs: Diameter of Wheel/ Runner Blades spacing No. of blades Angle b/w the blades 20cm 7.85cm 8 45 degree

    Design of Blades: Optimum Inlet angle of jet= ai Blade speed ratio(Cb/Cai) Blade inlet angle Blade exit angle Blade width Blade depth 22 degree 0.38 34 approx 34 approx (as blades are symmetrical) 6.25cm 1.5cm

    Here we assumed that, Optimum Inlet angle of jet= ai= 22degree Maximum inlet velocity of steam (Cai)= 1070 Maximum blade velocity attained (Cb) = 406.6 Blade velocity ratio (practically)= 0.38

    In triangle OAB, By law of Cosines we calculated Cri. Then by law of Sine we calculated Bi & Be. In this way we made our calculations. Errors and omissions are expected.
