Nicole Sarkisian Teaching Bio

Nicole has extensive experience working with groups and individuals to bring out the best of her students, colleagues and peers. It is her expertise to develop an environment in which her students can grow, and lead them through the material to a clear coherent understanding. She has developed this expertise in many different environments including the U.S Air Force, the Peace Corps, ESL classrooms in the U.S. and overseas, and corporate and government boardrooms and conference rooms. She has worked extensively as a manager with peers, superiors and subordinates, as a military trainer working with aircrews, as a civilian flight instructor, as a technical trainer, as an ESL teacher, and as a facilitator for support groups she created. She has succeeded one-on-one and in group settings at all levels. Her education includes a Master of Arts in Economics, and Bachelor of Arts in History, extensive technical training from both the U.S. Air Force (including Pilot Training), the Peace Corps, and corporate and governmental enterprises. She also holds a Certificate in TESOL Teaching English as a Second or Other Language, and a Flight Instructor Certificate.
