EXPLORER TORAJA - TREKKING

5 Day / 4 Nights
DAY 01 : Makassar Arrival – Toraja (LD)
Meet at Hasanuddin Airport and will be directly to Tanah Toraja. The journey
will be pass some regencies in distance of 310 km. On the way you’ll enjoy
the beautiful rice field, fish pool and the Traditional Houses of Bugisnese
which is adorn on the right and left side of the main road. Lunch will be at
Pare-pare, one of the regencies we passing by in the distance of 175 km from
Makassar. After lunch the journey will be continue and will arrive in Tana
Toraja at noon about 5 pm, then check-in to hotel, Dinner at the local
restaurant, free program.

DAY 02 : Toraja Tour – Batutumonga (BLD)

After breakfast at Hotel, visiting Traditional weaving village at SA’DAN,
traditional Toraja village with buffalo horns in front of their houses in PALAWA
then start trekking to Batutumonga its magnificent and fascinating mountain,
rice terrace, coffee and cacao plantation, and green trees surrounding will
give the trip more impressive one. By chance, you will meet the local people
doing their activities in traditional way. Afternoon arrive in Batutumonga,
check-in, dinner and overnight at Batutumonga..
DAY 03 : Batutumonga – Loko’mata – Toraja (BLD)
After breakfast trekking deep in the country side through the foot path,
crossing suspension bamboo bridge and coffee plantations. Enroute you will
find beautiful landscape, old traditional houses, stone graves. Afternoon
arrive in Toraja, check in hotel, Dinner at the local restaurant.

DAY 04 : Toraja Fullday Tour (BLD)

Buffet Breakfast at hotel, starting tour to visit Lemo (stone carving grave on
the rock cliff), Ke’te Kesu (the old traditional village of Torajanese), the stone
carving grave of Ke’te Kesu Kingdom, than lunch. After lunch continue the
tour to visit Londa (the oldest hanging grave) and Marante (the combination
of carving stone and hanging grave). Afternoon back to the hotel, Dinner at
the local restaurant, free program.

DAY 05 : Toraja - Makassar Departure (BL)

Buffet Breakfast at hotel leaving to Hasanuddin Airport Makassar. Lunch will
be served at the local restaurant Parepare, afternoon arrival at Hasanuddin
airport for your flight to next destination. End of the program..
