    Brief: On 25/09/2011 some insects were found in the drinking water jar at CO. On that basis a team has made a surprise visit and inspected the water treatment plant at Edgewater. The team members were AKD & MW. During the plant inspection it was found that the project assistants were not following the instruction of jar cleaning, though they had been trained and were instructed several times. It may be mentioned that Engr. Shamim Mahmudur Rahman was too busy with some other works, and as such was not able to supervise the cleaning process. On the above circumstances management has decided to suspend Mofazzol Hossain and Shamim Hossain. This surprise visit also gave a lesson to the management, that a total QA/QC roadmap is needed to ensure good quality of water and this QA/QC process shall be presented to the management for approval and put into effect.
