Brief 1

Background
Creative Networks is a public event programme set up by Leeds College of Art to support partnerships and collaborations within the creative industries in Leeds. They required an updated identity to coincide with a new calendar of events. The Creative Network brand mark (Cn light pattern) had no sense of identity and didnt reflect the events as effectively as it could. They wanted a mark that showcased a new event scheme, running from the start of the academic year it needed to be contemporary, fresh and inviting.

Outcome
In collaboration with Luke OBrien, we devised a new brand mark based on community and networking. The brand was applied to a range of signage and print collateral. The colour palette was chosen to create a warmer and friendlier tone of voice.

Brief 1

Event
The brand signage was applied to various areas within the college. Wayfinding guided the visitors to the event and stamps were used as a form of entry. The mark was also used within the main presentation and subsequently all social media, including their EventBrite page.

Future
We are currently in the process of planning for the next event to make the brand even bigger. Although we have an identity in place, we aim to create a more personal and vibrant event using an eclectic mix of paraphernalia.

Brief 1

Tone of voice
We needed to ensure the brand signage had an identity in itself. The wayfinding featured tongue-in-cheek bold statements and visual graphics to aid the visitor find their way around the college. We ensured consistency throughout using the same colour palette and typeface.

Online identity
We applied the brand mark, colour scheme and chosen photography that best reflects the nature of the event, to the Creative Networks Twitter, Facebook and EventBrite (ticket) pages.
