Bread and Butter Pudding

Ingredients: 50g melted butter a loaf of bread (stale bread and/or bread edges) 75g raisins/sultanas 50 g Marciano flavoured cherries tsp cinnamon 400ml milk 2 large free range eggs 2oz sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract Preparation: Heat the oven 355F/180C/Gas 4. Grease a 2 pint/1 litre pie dish with a little of the butter In bowl, add slices of bread, you may cut up pieces into irregular shapes. In a separate bowl combine, milk, eggs, cinammon powder, vanilla extract. Into this mixture, you would slowly pour the melted butter (careful that the butter is not too hot to make the eggs become lumpy). Add milk mixture to the bowl of bread, and sprinkle in the raisins and Marciano flavoured cherries will you combine the mixture. Add in sugar and continue mixing the ingredients. If the mixture becomes too dry, add more milk so that the ingredients can properly soak. Leave soaking for 5-10 minutes. Spread the ingredients out into a well-greased pan. Bake the pudding in the hot oven for 40 - 45 mins, until the surface is golden brown and the pudding is set. Serve hot.
