A formal meal service. The task of serving is assigned

among the members of family.


Considered to be a restyled

Definition

English Service because the host still portions the food into the plates of diners however differs in the way it will be served.

The

type of meal service wherein the diners serve the different courses and only two courses are planned main dish and dessert.
Used for a small group/family.

Definition

The

main course in an appropriate container, and stacked dinner plates are placed at the cover of the host.
Each

diner passes his/her plate until it reaches the server.


Dish is served onto plates with

all the accompaniments

Method

Dinner plate with foods is

passed back to the diner


This is the reason why the task

of serving is assigned among the family members. Thus the person who dines at the table acts as waiter or waitress.

Method

Dessert is served after the

table is cleared.
Soiled

dinner plates are passed to the one who served the foods earlier, place it in the kitchen, then return with dessert.

Method

The

dining table must be sufficiently spacious to accommodate serving of dishes from hand to hand.
Best used when the group

Consider

table is small, usually not more than 8, so as to serve the food in its supposed temperature.
