    1. Scan/Look For Vocabulary 2. Read brown box at start of section 3. Write headings and sub headings as questions. Then Answer 4. When finished reading, think and write brief notes to explain main, key, and relevant ideas. 5. Answer reading checks in head if you understand. If not, write them out. Text Visuals 1. Look at visuals 2. Read Captions 3. how does the illustration help you understand? Glossary 1. Understand each term. 2. Make a vocabulary list.
