Unit Cost is equal to the Cost per can divided by the size of the can or
Unit Cost = Cost per can/Size of can Unit Cost = B2/B3

An easy way to transfer the equation to the other cells is to click on the bottom right-hand corner of B4 and hold

Assignment: Figure the unit cost for three different products. Compare three brands/sizes for each. Show your comparison on a chart. Use Excel to figure out which of the three items is the best buy.
