the passage given below carefully and then answer the question that follows:

ONCE IN THE FOREST This story is about a group of animals living in a deep jungle in South Africa. There was a rabbit, a tiger, an elephant and a giraffe. They got their water from a thin river that flowed across their little village. They did everything in that river, they drank the water, they bathed in that river, and they played in it too. However, one day when they were all going to drink water, they were surprised to see that the river was completely dry! In their fun and frolic, they hadnt noticed that the rain hadnt come in for a very long time. Now all the water was gone. They decided to have a meeting of all the animals. Everybody agreed that the best thing to do was to dig a big hole, and soon they would come across some water. They took turns to dig. The rabbit was very lazy, and she decided that she would not dig like all the other animals. The rest of the animals were not happy about this, so they told her that once they had some water she would not be allowed to have any. The animals started digging. They dug for weeks and weeks. When they were about to give up, they found water. In no time the hole was filling up with lots of water! This excited them. At that time, they remembered that the rabbit should not drink any water. Each animal had to take turns watching the water so that the rabbit would not steal. However, the rabbit had a clever plan. She was going to give the giraffe, the incharge one day, some food that had sleeping spice in it. When she got to the giraffe, he was very eager to have the food, since he hadnt eaten the whole day. As soon as he had finished eating, he fell fast asleep. The rabbit quickly drank as much water as she possibly could, and then she had a good bath. The next day when all the animals came to drink some water they found that there was no water remaining. Of course they blamed the giraffe. The poor giraffe could not remember anything. In shame, he packed all his belongings and left the village. To this day, the giraffe does not speak with any of the animals because he is still too ashamed of what he thought he had done.
