These include the Division of Environmental Geosciences, Division of Professional Affairs, and the Energy and Minerals Division. Then, one of divisions AAPG is AAPG SC (American Association of Petroleum Geologist Student Chapter) which be in 5 continent on the world. In Indonesia, AAPG SC has been in 13 universitys (Geology and Geophysics). Essentially, AAPG SC is a organization which supports colleges (Geology or Geophysics) activities in every university. The activities such as guest lecturer, field trip, etc. In the petroleum industry, someone who is a geologist is a duty to search, calculate the economic value of oil reserves on the basis of geological data which collected are data interior earth and the Earth's surface. Geological data is a very important fundamental data in addition to search and calculate reserves, are also very important in the planning of the oil itself. A geological data contain important data and can be translated into information that can be used directly to solve the problem of oil exploration, environmental issues and other issues.
