Serrano 1 Methods Participants The people that participated in the study were high school students.

I focused on this group of participants because high school students are much more likely to participate in sexting. The number of people that participated in my survey were 50. The participants were selected by volunteer. My participants were selected voluntarily because I wanted to survey willing participants who are more likely to answer honestly. I administered this study. Target Behaviors For this survey the type of study I did was a quantitative study. The kind of research instrument I used was the likert scale. There were a total of 10 items on my research instrument. The information I wish to gather through these questions are to see how many people are involved in sexting and to see what kind of punishment teens will respond to. Setting The study took place at Joliet West on February 8 and 11 during class periods. How I administered the study was first, I asked teachers permission to administer the survey during their class. Second, I explained to the class what my survey was about and I explained the directions. Then, I asked for volunteers that would willingly take the survey. After, I passed out the survey and I walked around monitoring that students were answering the survey. Finally, I thanked the people that participated and I counted up the results of my survey.
