of Hot Section Components

Gas Producer Turbine Supports, Power Turbine Supports, and Outer Combustion Chambers have been and are being These colors range shipped out in an array of colors. from light straw, dark blues, purple, and in a few cases, black. The color concentrations in some cases may be spotty and in others cover a considerable area. This discoloration is not the result of overtemperature operation of the engine. It is the result of the heat treat furnace atmosphere in which these part:; are subjected. This discoloration will not affect the function of the part and is not cause for rejection.
