Highcrest Idol 2013 Family Fun Night/Talent Show

When: Friday, April 26, 2013 @ 6:30 p.m. Where: Silas Deane Middle School Auditorium Rehearsals: Wed., April 24th & Thurs., April 25th from 4:30-7:00 pm Tickets: $5 per person or $15 per family, sold at the door only.

New this year!!! We will award prizes for winners in specific categories picked by a panel of judges!!!
We welcome student acts only (A parent can only be used if NEEDED as an accompaniment to the child (for example a parent can play piano for a child who is singing or playing another instrument). All kinds of acts are welcome! Solos, karaoke, singing, dancing, instrumentals, class performances, family acts, magicians, comedy acts be creative! Come join the fun!

To sign up to be in the show:

Return the bottom portion of this form, along with a COPY of the music CD you will be using, (copies please, CDs will not be returned). Indicate the performers names and song # on the CD. There is a 3minute time limit per act, so plan your routine accordingly. CDs must be cut to three minutes before submission (We are not able to edit the CDs, so the CD must be performance ready when submitted). Students may perform in one act only! Thank you! **Please remember that this is a family-oriented event, and there will be many small children in attendance. We respectfully ask that any song submitted does not contain offensive lyrics. Inappropriate language must be deleted from any song submitted. We will review all music as quickly as possible, and if necessary will return any submission found objectionable and ask that it be resubmitted. Thank you for your cooperation. Sign-up sheets (below), rules/permission form, and CD, if applicable, should be returned to school in an envelope marked IDOL by March 28, 2013.
